Who doesn’t love a good trivia night? Especially when it’s surrounded by good friends and good drinks! For some game show-style fun, visit one of Nebraska’s many exciting trivia nights. From taverns in Omaha to brewing companies in Papillion, here are our favorites in the state.

With four different locations, the Varsity Sports Cafes host trivia four nights per week across all of their venues. Visit Ralston, Millard, Dundee, or Bellevue to play trivia and enjoy any number of delectable dishes. Visit the website in order to view menus and specials specific to each location.
It’s Trivia Tuesdays at Local Beer, Patio and Kitchen, trivia begins at 7 p.m., and happy hour runs from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Drop in early to experience happy hour, and prepare yourself for answering general trivia questions.

Established in 2007, the Nebraska Brewing Company has “established itself as a Midwest Innovator of quality Craft Beers and artisanal Barrel-Aged Products,” according to its website. The company is locally owned and operated, and proud of it. It looks like you’ll have to choose between Heartland Tasting Room and Nebraska Brewing Company, if Wednesday is your night for trivia.
A “new old dive bar with a killer twist” is the Sociable Inn, according to its website. With a rustic industrial decor and vibe, the Sociable is you and your friends new hang out—especially on Thursday night trivia. Check out the online calendar they keep updated with upcoming events.
Self-proclaimed as a “quaint and out-of-the-way place,” Barrymore’s is a hidden gem buried in Lincoln’s downtown. They host trivia on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. sharp, along with a free nacho bar. At Barrymore’s you’ll forget you’re in the heart of the city because of the intimate atmosphere and the unique location.

Yes, DJ’s Dugout is a sports bar, as evidenced by their name. There are six locations throughout Nebraska, with the original location in Bellevue since 1993. What a great place to play trivia on select Wednesday nights because if you become bored with trivia there’s more than 50 high-definition TV’s to keep you occupied.
If you’re a beer connoisseur, then Farnam’s is the place for you. They “specialize in well-traveled styles from the premiere beer-producing regions of Europe, including Belgium, France, and Germany,” according to their website. There’s a rotating tap, so get excited. Visit on Wednesday to play trivia, and enjoy happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m.
