In the heart of Brownville, a community noted for its fine and performing arts, is an artistic endeavor of a botanical kind. More than 200 trees, shrubs and flowers extend from 7th Street to the Missouri River along the Governor Furnas Connector Trail. This trail links with the Steamboat Trace Trail. Also featured is a life-size sculpture of Governor Furnas.
