One of the shorter trails planned for the Omaha area, the Field Club trail follows an abandoned railroad bed through one of the city's mature but stately neighborhoods. The trail starts at Leavenworth Street and heads south terminating at Vinton Street just north of Interstate 80. Approximate length 1.8 miles.
The northern section of the trail lies 30 feet below the adjacent properties. This feature provides users with a quiet secluded experience with a rural feel. The corridor for this path is also very wide with few obstructions along with way.
As the trail runs to the south, the terrain flattens and opens into a tree lined segment in a neighborhood setting before terminating near an old grain storage.
